Scottsdale luxury home with unobstructed mountain views listed for $12M – The Business Journals

A home built in 2020 in the exclusive Desert Mountain community of north Scottsdale is on the market for $12 million.
“It’s the hippest, chicest home we’ve ever listed,” said Daniel Wolski of Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty at Desert Mountain who listed the home about two weeks ago. “It’s got a very fun, yet elegant, vibe. It’s a desert contemporary hideaway.”
Platinum Homes built the 5,939-square-foot home on a 4.8-acre parcel with protected unobstructed views. The architect was Erik Peterson, CEO of PHX Architecture, and the interior designer was Jacque Bethke Interior Design, both of Scottsdale.

The Illinois owners of this second home plan to downsize, said Wolski, who recently ranked in the Top 100 agents of Sotheby’s International worldwide.
“They’re torn,” Wolski said. “But with a wow factor home in this marketplace, they thought they would put it on the market and work at getting it sold.”
The home is tucked into the foothills of Continental Mountain, overlooking Lone Mountain and Black Mountain, he said.
Glass stackable doors offer an indoor/outdoor living experience, leading out to a 2-level pool that features a water slide connecting to the lower level. A glass pingpong table and lighted bocce court offer entertainment for the home with five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.
The owners have children in high school, offering a fun hang-out for their friends, he said.
“It’s a fun house,” Wolski said. “I wish I could go back to high school and live with them.”
The indoor/outdoor living concept also applies to the primary suite, which features a spacious walk-in shower with a glass door that slides open to an outdoor shower with views.
“The master shower is tucked in where they have views but nobody is able to look in on you,” he said. “Privacy along with views is just top notch.”
The primary bathroom has heated tiled floors and a double vanity with double disappearing mirrors revealing mountain views.
The current owners of the home have a Desert Mountain golf club membership, which can be transferred to the new owners.
“It provides the buyer with instant access to all seven golf courses and seven clubhouses and all social activities of the community,” Wolski said. “They would pay separate for membership an bypass a multi-year wait list.”
