Million Dollar Listing: $2.9M Cincinnati home formerly owned by Nick Lachey features Ohio River views

Does the home of a famous singer come with good acoustics? There’s only one way to find out.

The former home of Nick Lachey front man of the pop band 98 Degrees and multi-platinum recording artist, actor and TV personality is now on the market for $2.99 million. Julie Back of Sibcy Cline is listing the property, located at 3747 Vineyard Place in Columbia Tusculum.

The home sits on over an acre of land with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the Ohio River views.

“It’s a beautiful river view,” Back told the Business Courier. “It’s about as good as it gets with a house this gorgeous.”

Lachey grew up in Cincinnati alongside his brother and bandmate, Drew. They both attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts.

The home itself is nearly 9,000 square feet and has five bedrooms. The primary bedroom has large bay windows and custom closets, along with tray ceilings and a gas fireplace.

On the lower level, some of the home’s most impressive amenities include a wine cellar with room for more than 400 bottles, a billiards room, theater room and bar.

The kitchen and formal dining room also have views of the foliage and river. The kitchen is complete with granite countertops and Thermador appliances.

Back said one of the highlights of the property is its prime location. Columbia Tusculum represents a beautiful area of Cincinnati, she said, and there are only so many properties boasting river views on the market. Additionally, the outdoor space itself is beautiful, with a spa in addition to the pool, rear porch and balcony. There’s plenty of space to enjoy the views from a private, gated home.

“It just checks off all the boxes,” Back said.

The property has received high interest so far, Back said.
