— Comedian John Oliver of “Last Week Tonight,” in comments given during a recent appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” where he reinstated his offer to pay Clarence Thomas $1 million a year until one of them died if the controversial justice resigns from the Supreme Court. The offer also included a $2 million luxury motor home. “It was both a huge relief and massively disappointing that he didn’t take it,” Oliver told Meyers, referring to the offer he originally made to Thomas in February 2024.
