First Boxpark Outside of London Opens its Doors in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle

Rising from the ruins of a derelict urban wasteland, the Baltic Triangle is one of Liverpool’s most recent and impressive regeneration success stories.

Fifteen years ago, this area consisted of abandoned shipping warehouses, but it is now one of the city’s most popular culture and leisure quarters, home to independent businesses, small galleries, skateparks, and one of Liverpool’s most exciting food, drink, and nightlife scenes.

With Boxpark’s grand opening comes a reminder that this area’s growth and development are far from over.

According to the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, there are big plans to improve transport links in this area, with a new railway station in the works and enhanced pedestrian and cycle routes.

This area’s incredible growth has also impacted the local property market, drawing in off-plan property developers for ambitious new-build residential projects such as One Baltic Square, The Mill, and Central Park.
