A. Joseph Chandler ’99 (JD) Recognized For Work in Real Estate Law in Best Lawyers in America 2019 Edition
PHOENIX (August 17, 2018) – University of San Diego (USD) School of Law alumnus A. Joseph Chandler, ’99 (JD), has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America 2019 Edition for his work in real estate law.
Best Lawyers in America is the oldest and most respected peer-reviewed publication. For more than 30 years, Best Lawyers has assisted those in need of legal services to identify the attorneys best qualified to represent them in distant jurisdictions or unfamiliar specialties. Best Lawyers lists are published in leading local, regional, and national publications across the global. For the 2019 edition, 7.8 million votes were analyzed and only 5% of US attorneys are represented for their work within the legal profession.
Chandler represents businesses and individuals in a variety of real estate matters; including the purchase and sale of commercial and industrial properties, and high-end residential matters. He regularly negotiates and prepares office, retail/restaurant, industrial warehousing, agricultural and land leases for landlords, tenants and project developers. Chandler assists clients with real property issues in regards to financing, receiverships, property management agreements, easements and licensing agreements. He also has considerable experience in representing clients in the acquisition of resource exploration and mining sites, telecommunications sites, and waste disposal facilities. Chandler is a practice real estate advisor and skilled transactional attorney who aims to keep his clients’ business and individual goals in the forefront of his mind.
Additionally, Chandler serves as the Vice Chair of Board of Directors for Valley Youth Theatre as well as a member and past-board member of the Men’s Art Council. During his time at USD, Chandler was the Lead Articles Editor of the San Diego Law Review. He has participated as a Law Alumni Board member from 2009-2011 and currently serves on the Phoenix USD Law Chapter Board.
